There's a saying....If it is supposed to move and doesn't, use WD40, if it supposed to just sit there quietly and doesn't, use duct tape.

Before I sprayed my shoulder with WD40 I couldn't move my hand above my head without excurciating pain. Two hours later after I sprayed my shoulder with WD40 I could raise my hand above my head without much pain.

Toad08, I've heard people talk about using WD-40 for joint pain. While I won't refute your own personal experience, most of what I've heard on the subject is summed up in this article. (Your mileage may vary.)

...all of which got me thinking: Is there anything WD-40 can't (or shouldn't) be used for? Let's make a list! I'll start:

1.) Ice cream flavorant
2.) Lip gloss
3.) "Personal" lubricant
4.) Bratwurst condiment
5.) Eye-makeup remover
6.) Suntan oil
7.) Topical application to mice to make it easier for hungry snakes to swallow them quickly...
8.) Floor wax additive at a roller rink
9.) Mix with bleach for a daily gargling fluid to give you whiter, shinier teeth (plus, it'd kill all the germs in your mouth, and those that didn't die couldn't stick to anything anyway!)
10.) Frying pan lubricant for omelet-making

shame on you Jaz!!! I actually thought your list was a summation of what you liked on the link. Duh? Slow down, right?

It can't be used to:
11.) Clean the cat
12.) Deodorize the car (and as a matter of fact...)
13.) Deodorant for you
14.) Coating ropes for rappelling

It should not be used:

15. To clean a toddler's sticky face.
16. As a protective coating on door knobs.
17. Instead of extra-virgin olive oil
18. To take the squeak out a mouse [computer mice shouldn't be fed oil and living mice have more sense than to eat it anyhow].

Clean the toilet seat.
