Sorry for yet another over seed question

Hi,

I have a couple of quick questions that I think I may already know the answer to. I live in Upstate NY and on Friday I over seeded my lawn (1 acre) Before over seeding, I cut the grass down to 2 1/2. I know I probably was supposed to go shorter, but the lawn is not patchy, this was just a regular over seed for maintenance. I also aerated before broadcasting the seed. I have two problems. 1. Since I over seeded, the lawn is covered with leaves. Hundreds. 2. After a couple of days of rain, the grass looks like it is growing at a high clip.

Can I use the ride on mower to blow the leaves off the lawn? The seeds obviously haven't germinated yet, but would the mower suck up the seeds like a vacuum? Also, if I can use the mower, can I cut the grass one more time since the seeds still haven't germinated?

Thanks so much.
