Mwheel, yes, messages are posted on EST, so when I get up ealy in the morning, you folks back East have had your cofee and breakfast already, but it's hard for me to be late with quotes if I can get them out before bed-time, and then, if I want to, sleep in (doesn't happen, cats and dog will see to that).

When I still lived at home,we were given a Manchester Terrier....named "Puddles"....aptly named,he was over a year old and not housebroke.My Mom had him broke in about 3 days though.The people that gav him to us just never tried.we had him til he died at 16 yrs old of cancer.He was a hoot! LOL!

We have a dog that did that. She has always been a "Nervous Nellie". She used to pee when she got too excited. She ate a hole in our laundry room and again in the boy's bedroom. Then we have Merlin, our male cat. He got locked in my bedroom by accident once. He ripped up the carpet and removed everything but the TV from the dresser and the nightstands. We make sure they never get separated from us now! Trish

I hear ya CR,we went thru the same thing with neighbors quite a few years ago.We raised afghan hounds,and the kids next door were always teasing them as well.Then one day my kids came home from school and called me at work and said,"Mom you need to come home,something is wrong with alfie and sheik. I rushed home only to find our pretty blonde dogs were covered in something purple,it was also all over the chain link fence,the grass etc.I called the next door neighbor,showed it to her and asked if she knew what it was.Come to find out she had bought this big a** bottle of gentian violet in TJ,and her kids got hold of it and threw it all over the dogs. I took them to the vet,he said it wouldn't hurt them,but it would take time to wear off.I was glad they weren't hurt,but she wasn't happy when i gave her the vet bill. Kathi
