He said Don't tell

But I'm going to anyway. Two weeks ago while George was on his way to the car he fell and broke his collarbone where it joins on his left shoulder and dislocated his thumb on his right hand. Now he wears a 10 inch elastic band aroind his chest with his upper arm and wrist fastened to the band and a strange looking splint type wiith a wire loop on his thumb.

He said they will think I'm the worlds biggest klutz. I feel guilty, I backed the car out so he could get in it easily when I should have been walking beside him. He manages very well for having limited use of one hand except if we have a meat course that needs cutting I have to do it for him. The only time the elastic band comes off is when he is showering.

His balance seems to be returning somewhat although it is still far from good.

One thing I worry about is I know he is in quite a bit of pain but he will not take the pain killers the Dr. prescribed he dosn't complain but I see him grimace when he moves.

He refuses to use a walker but now he is using a cane with 4 prongs on it, seems to help.

Guess it will be a while before he can post.
