Hello, Lovely Ladies-I can't believe I took care of all this yesterday , "pushed Submit" & received the message- After an April date you can no longer sign in with your GW name, etc. I couldn't believe it. When I get this typed again, you will all understand why I waited until today to try again. I received the largest box from Maryanne yesterday & I know when I try to input all that was in it, I'll forget some of it as it was so loaded, I can't believe that post is somewhere in outer space, I guess. There were lots of Iris unamed, too. I am sure I have missed some & miss spelled some but what a selection! For as much as I like Miele, their executive management is dysfunctional. All countries except the USA have good web sites that actually work. Not here. Miele is basically screwing up the marketing in North America. They don't properly promote the advantages of their machines while underutilizing some revolutionary features (PC Update, RemoteVision, etc.). The RemoteVision thing is what I really can't understand. Miele can enable wi-fi connectivity on their machines, so why not make the machines programmable remotely and charge customers for special cycle "packages" like they do with their commercial machines? For instance, if you live on the coast you might want a slight variation to all of your programs to ensure sand is properly rinsed out... or I might want to buy the "Southwest" cycle package that would be better suited to wash out iron-rich clay soil. The possibilities are endless and something like this would add to Miele's revenue stream. No other manufacturer is positioned to do what Miele can do here, the only problem is that Miele is not doing anything much with the great technology they've developed. I should be CEO of Miele USA.

Thank you, everyone. It's not so high that I can't reach it with my arm, so with a short stool I'll be safe. I just need to find a paint I can use with a sponge or small brush (not spray paint). If I'm going to pay an electrician to take it down, I might as well get a new one. I found this two years ago at a local home boutique, and had a lamp store rework it from a plug-in to a hanging pendant. Not something I can take back! But rebunky, this has happened to multiple vases, so I'm careful now. It's a shame all these manufacturers sell this stuff, with no warning. I've taken vases back to Pottery Barn and Target, and the sales clerks just shrug and give me my money back. Not so easy with this pendant.
