Cucumber plant troubles w/ Pix

10 years ago

In trying out some new cucumber varieties this year, I've encountered some new problems. We had a long cold snap here in Charlotte and though the plants survived, they are seem stunted and have symptoms of possible anthracnose or alternaria leaf spot. The varieties are Crystal Apple, marketmore 76, tendergreen, and armenian. They were all grown from seed and were happy, successful seedlings. We garden organically using compost tea, black kow, neptune's harvest, and early in the season, used espoma plant-tone. Any thoughts on these cukes? I thought about copper spray, but I'm just unsure. I'm in zone 8a, and it's early June so I'm starting a new set of plants just in case. Thanks everyone! {{gwi:143844}}
