A keiki or two?

My phalaenopsis had two bloom stalks. I cut them back to the third node. Now I think I have keikis growing instead of another bloom stalk.

I had this happen once before. I let it grow some roots, but when I cut if off, it died. But this one looks different to me. Seems to me that the first one the plant sent out a stalk and the keiki grew on that stalk, not at the cut site.

Can you tell me if this is really a keiki and what to care for it if it is? Thanks.
