A Keiki On A Keiki?

I have an Epidendrum radicans, growing in porous potting mix, sitting in an east facing window... it gets supplemental light, as well, for a total of about 16 hours a day. I water it when it gets dry, and feed it weakly about every other watering.

It's had 2 keikis growing on it for a while now... and I just noticed today that it has tiny little keikis growing on the keikis... is this normal? Should I remove the larger keikis? Will leaving it grow as is hurt the plant?

The older keikis are respectively about 5 inches and 3 inches long... the tiny ones on the older ones are about an inch or less.
