Moving sucks eggs!

Yes, I said it and I mean it.

Shoot me and put me out of my misery, PLEASE.

At one point during all the the mess my best friend pulled

out a bottle of pills and said here take two of these.

No! I'm fine, I said, I'll be okay.

She said, Jan, either you take these pills or I'll shove them down your throat.

I figured that she meant business so I took them, calmed

down some and after that I started accepting pills from

anyone that offered. I took Gail's pain pills after I

slipped on the tile when I was cleaning the lakehouse

and broke my hiney. I just lay there on the floor praying

that I hadn't broken any major parts.

I took sleeping pills from Neil (you know, those things

that make you wake up the morning after wearing your

husband's briefs). At that point I was just desperate for any kind of sleep.

I'm probably a candidate for rehab now but I don't give a

rat's behind because it's over.

I may be living out of boxes for the rest of my life but

I'm here. I feel like Scarlet at Tara after the war. I may

be tattered and have blisters on my hands and feet, but

I'm here, smack dab in the middle of sheetrock dust and

copper tubing, furniture stacked to the ceiling and more

cleaning supplies than a warehouse can hold.

I'm riding around with a toilet brush in the trunk, a

toothbrush in the side pocket on the passenger side and a

sink brush in the back seat. Neil helped with the moving

and although I tried to impress upon him that one usually

threw those things away and bought new, I wasn't

convincing enough. I'm seriously considering riding around

in the dead of night and tossing them onto the lawns of

unsuspecting neighbors in hopes of finding them a good home.

The good news is, my electrician is out of jail and is

ready to go back to work if only I will give him another

chance.

The bad news is my carpenter and my cleaning lady are not

speaking to each other, which is interesting when they are

both here at the same time.

Neil is going to see a lawyer to have me committed and I

think Katrina is looking for a new mom.

My sister Gail still loves me, I think, although she could

be just being nice to me because she's afraid if she isn't

our mom will come back and haunt her til she dies.

All in all it was the moving experience from hell but

Katrina survived even though she had an infection in her

legs and had a bad fall in the new kitchen. She is

organized, I'm not. It's interesting to say the least.

She was a great help not only with Neil but also with

Sassi.

My sister Gail was an angel, she and her husband moved

many truck loads to warehouses and her house. My family

really came through for us and I am truly grateful.

I'm back!!!!!!
