Care tips for Cypripediums

I have been trying to grow this gifted plant (Cypripedium parviflorum x fasciolatum 'Inge')in a pot for 3 yrs. It always dies on me after it grows leaves. I then bag it and put it into the refrigerator for 3 months. After that it emerges every time with a new growth, but as the leaves mature, they dry out and die. I can't bring it to bloom.

I unpacked the plant recently and found again a new growth. Since it is still winter here, I wonder if I can grow it in our garage on a window shelve under light (Night temps 58-60 deg.)alongside my Phalaenopsis?

There is very little information to be found on the web. If any of you can help, I would much appreciate it.

Helga.
