Congratulations! But, uh, Mike? I don't know how you are defining "bright light", but being a Cattleya, it needs that bright light you are depriving it of if you have any expectation of blooming. These are relatively high light plants. I don't know where in the US you live, you haven't put it in your profile (please fix this, it helps to know where you are when giving advice), but depending on where you live, on average they can take about 5-6 hrs of direct sunlight (say from 4-sunset, or sunrise-12/1pm. They really don't want to see direct afternoon sunlight between, say, 12-2/3).

I am in zone 5. I am Ohio. I have added this before but it seems to go away.

With the sun so low, I have moved the plant a bit further back to prevent burning. Do you think that I should give it more light?

Mike, maybe you can bring it into the house by a bright window instead of the greenhouse?

I keep my GH heaters set at 58-60F during the winter. On gray days, it doesn't get any higher than that, while on sunny days it can climb 10 degrees or more. I grow hundreds of orchids in it, and they seem quite content -- even the Phals.

Your Cattleya needs very strong light. Move it to the brightest area of the GH -- unless your GH is clear glass where you would need to do it gradually, a few hours at a time longer over a couple days. This type of orchid is generally found growing in the tree canopies exposed to almost direct sun for most of the day.

Since that orchid came from a garden center, I bet the tag (if present) stated: "Bright, indirect light" which implies no sunlight. This has been a pet peeve of mine for ages and almost all those tags on garden center plants state that. In other words, it would be very easy for a novice orchid grower to think sunlight is bad for their plants.

FWIW, all my catts (and vandas & some oncidiums, etc.) have been gradually moved out into full sun in mid november and will stay there until march or so when they will gradually be brought under 50% shadecloth. A few have a little red/maroon tinge (ok some more than a little) but none have burned.

As per all the sage advice above, you have your plant living in the dark. The advice of "Bright, indirect light" is not for all parts of the country. It's a general suggestion for all points south and west, not for light starved states like New Jersey and Ohio. Here they need all the light they can get and can almost go right up against the cold glass in order to get it. Yes, the sun is low, but it's very weak, at it's weakest of the year, in fact. Very gradually, from December 21, which was the shortest day of the year and the absolute depths of winter for orchids, the days will be slightly brighter each day. In April is when you worry that the light may be getting too strong and you can pull the plant back a few inches. Notice the word "inches" and not feet.
