new hydroseeded lawn questions

Hi,

we had a lawn installed in May. 6 in of old soil out and new screened loam carted in, hydroseeded and watered and what has grown is okay in some places, bad in others. in the shaded parts of the lawn, it is beautiful lush grass. in the sunny parts its all weeds. see pics. can anyone help with what to do now?

2. What type of grass you have? he said it was fairway grass

3. What products you have applied to your lawn, and how much? These include fertilizer, herbicide, fungicide, insecticide, etc.

one grub application

one hour, twice a week

5. Is the lawn established, or have you recently seeded/re-seeded or added sod? If so, when?

may, all new soil and hydroseed

6. At what height you mow and how often?

3 inches once a week

none

8. Entire lawn is affected or a specific area(s)?

just sunny areas

9. If it is a specific area, what is different about this area? This can include: Shade, standing water, insects/pests, weeds, moss, rocks, heavy traffic, etc. Also, if the problem area is ring-shaped or spreading in any way.

  1. If your problem is with weeds, what type of weeds?

    i am not sure, see pictures? maybe crabgrass?

  2. How long you have noticed this problem and it is recurring?

    hand pulling weeds is not possible
