Kirk, I wish I could take credit for the hose guide idea but it was from someone on this forum. I was so excited when I found the insulators. Everyone has such great ideas that I copy all the time, including you. Karen, I wish I could find an amber rooster to go with my clear one. It will be awesome as a totem. Nonacook, I agree the white fluted bowl is too pretty to use on a totem but that is why I bought it. Lol. Kudzukween, I never knew about the numbers on the blue mason jars, I looked and mine have the numbers 5 and 12 on them. But you can be sure I will be on the lookout for the number 13 now. Can't wait to get started, if only the rain would stop so I could go to the barn to get my stuff. Lol.

I'm sooo jealous, especially for the roof vent turbine. I have a galvanized pole just waiting for one, but I'm not going to buy it new. LOL, I have created a set of GJ rules for myself to help keep this new hobby under control. I've been looking for bowling balls too, you're so lucky to find that! Shirley

Thank you, Holiday-ers! I just think this 'blog' thing & the whole world of Internet, Skyping is just the most fantastic invention!! Having Internet friends from all over the U.S. esp w/some of same interests ... connecting w/old classmates & esp Skyping w/Gr'kids who live hrs away! And sharing 'pics'... Just amazing! Oh, & going bk to college & getting that 4-yr degress got me a job I never dreamed of...Youth Librarian Asst in the bigger city near me...so my 'art' degree w/English minor pd off! Alright, alright..stop hatin' on the purse y'all :) :) My mother tells me it's "quite fashionable", lol. Maybe that should be my first sign to run..not walk away from it :) I'll put some more pics up of the whole space. I'm needing some help pulling some other things together to make this table work. I've been ready and quite willing for awhile to make a change. And this has helped set me on that path. Kathleen, great idea about using them as an end table. I'll be needing something, once I get rid of some of the other stuff I have. I may have a spot. Although, they're not quite as big in person as they appear in the pic. Thanks again everyone! So far, I've yet to have any buyer's remorse :)
