5 days of over 90 degree days and lawn is turning brown:

My Lawn was planted last year. It came up so good. And it was nice and green. Till last week it was good. And last 5 days, it's been unusually very hot. Weather has been in mid 90s. And my lawn is drying. Suddenly There is a huge patch of dying grass.

I put starter fertlizer in April and weed-feed in Memorial day weekend. I remember fertilizing little bit extra where the patch of dying grass is there currently.

Other thing is that, I originally planted 'Scotts Sun and Shade' seeds but part where it is dying is in constant sun. Could that be the reason of dying grass?

I have been following all the advice on this forum like mowing high and infrequent watering.

Why the grass didn't tolerate the hot weather at all? Anything I can do to revive my lawn ?

I have attached before and after Pics:
