Reel push mower advice (Mclane?)

I have been an avid user of the push reel type mowers for years now. Those of you who are the same way know the reasons why. I wanted a new one with a catcher so I can compost the clippings. The one I bought was a Scott's Classic. The catcher doesn't work hardly at all. the grass builds up where the catcher meets the mower and it throws it back over the top to the front of the mower, defeating the purpose of the catcher. I have been looking at Mclane mowers lately. I like the front throw design, since it seems that the reel wants to throw the grass that direction naturally anyways. Does anyone have any direct experience with these mowers? Or can anyone give me advice on a mower that actually CATCHES grass?
