Grape experts: can you identify these grapes?

I have been reading this forum (almost daily) for a long time - I am very impressed with the knowledge of the posters. For my first post, I have a challenge...

My in-laws just bought a house in SW Idaho (zone 6, right on the Snake River) and we were clearing a weed infested patch that looks like it was a garden once upon a time. After chopping down the 6+ ft tall weeds we found a grape vine clinging to a small fence - hidden treasure!!! I don't know if they were planted by the previous owners since they are not tied to the fence, just more like climbing it. We don't have wild grapes here that I know of (zero rain all summer), but there are many vineyards nearby, so a bird could have dropped some seeds there. It is near the lawn, so the overspray of the sprinklers probably is what kept it alive.

So I'll describe them. Purple (red before ripe) seeded grape that ripened about a week ago (1st of Sept). It is slipskin and the flesh is green. It has a whitish blush similar to blueberries. The seeds are crunchy but not tough. The skin is pretty tough though. It has a fruity taste (kind of like a plum) that I have not tasted in grapes before. I don't know if it is a table or wine grape, but the vines tend to hang down rather than grow upward like a lot of wine grapes. It is pretty flavorful, but the tough skin and the seeds kind of ruin it as a table grape for me. Here are some pictures:

Any Idea what this is? Thank you for any input.
