Small fruit bushes in mounds, wet conditions below...

The land where these berries are getting planted is peaty and naturally poorly drained.

Everything gets planted in raised beds to keep at least the upper portion of root system out of wet soil. Cranberries and blueberries were planted in the lowest areas- blueberries in raised beds.

Could you view this list and suggest which berries can tolerate the wettest ground out of them? All will be in raised beds, but wondering if some can handle wetter soil than others once the roots go deeper than the mounds?

Raspberries (root rot resistant varieties!)

Black raspberries

Blackberries, and a few blackberry+raspberry hybrids

Gooseberries and Josta berries

Black and red currents

Lingonberry

Nanking cherries and Juneberry (saskatoons)

I've had both asparagus and rhubarb survive for 3 years in mounds just the same, so I expect it will work.

Thanks if you can help.
