Wydelia growing through paspallum lawn

I planted a seashore paspallum sod lawn around my home and even though I tried to dig out all the wydelia it is still growing through the cracks between the sod pieces. Anyway, is there a way to kill the wydelia and not the lawn ? Do I have to paint the wydelia leaves individually with roundup ? Will salting the wydelia kill it and not the grass, or is the wydelia salt tolerant also ?

Aloha and mahalo for any help you can provide

Paspalum is known as Dallis Grass to many of us. In the South, and also occasionally as far north as NJ, it is seen as an invasive grass and is often considered a weed.

Look into WEEDHOE or MSMA. I don't have the label to read it. One other thing you can do is contact your local College Ag. extension.
