Ha! Started the Boot idea...and also scored another idea pc that has been on my mind for about a yr!!!! WOW! Luv when just the perfect thing comes into my life!!!

That's going to be cute. Will it be a structural piece in the garden or will it sport a plant as well. I have a ceramic boot planter about 8 inches at the highest boot spot that is to look like a house.

Okay....I'll try to explain better~~~ I own a 28,000 SF lot on the lake in our "back home" town.. IF, IF, IF I would decide to go the duplex route, the other lady would be BUYING half of my lot...we would EACH pay the entire amount for OUR OWN BUILD. I WOULD NOT be renting to her. We both would be responsible for our own half of the duplex....just as it would be if I bought into the condo. No renting is permitted by the HOA...everyone MUST OWN their own unit~~ NO, NO, NO, I would never build anything to rent out...I do not want to be a land-lord to anyone. Conods and duplexes for the over 55 are in high demand because it is a very beautiful area and only that age group will live there....so no noise, etc. of teen-agers etc. The lot is so large that it will require a great deal of mowing expense, etc.....and of course, taxes will be greater on a single house than a duplex. Just so many things to think of.....and IF the builder can do Summerfield's last revised plan for a reasonable price, I do plan to do it...it would be my first choice, but if the bid price is more than I can handle, I'll see about doing a 2/2 duplex. LL~~ didn't Summerfield do a great job?...I emailed her and told her the changes that I would like, and woohoo, she came up with it for me :-) You all are so kind....and thanks.

Bumble- I wasn't even HINTING at the angle you're addressing....Sheesh! I was speaking ONLY about the Ugg-appeal, or lack thereof! NOT how Women should dress. Tinam- LOL....oooops! Yes...that's what I meant! Poncho's! YUCK! I think even Sofia Vergera would look like Hell in a Poncho...but that's just ME! AJ- Yep....I DO view the person separate from what they're wearing! I'm not THAT shallow, believe-it-or-no! I stand with your DH on this one! In a humorous vein....if there was a couple of Fashion-articles I could ban/destroy, Poncho's would be one of-'em!! Redid the roof for the shoe/boot, made one bigger, looks better now, and was thinking about that tube, am gonna dremel some slots for 1/4 inch glass(cut like leaves) to be mosaiced...THEN mosaic the stem green and put a ropelight in it to light it all up!!! Just gotta make a base, probably use wire mesh so I can add a hole for electrical plug...oh ya, this is gonna be cool! But HAVE to get some wood projects out of the way cuz it's all sitting in the middle of the lawn and DH is looking at it like firewood!ha! So have a zillion projects to get done!ha!

Last night , the old woman decided to help me wrap presents , She got down on the floor and after about a hour she said her fat A$$ was sore and she tryed to get up but just was rolling around on the floor , my dog was looking at her like (YOU Got A Problem Lady!) Any way she finally got up walked in Kitchen and walked right into a cupboard door she left open, Her eye sight is really going , she is forever Kicking the dog , and them DH Yells at me for it , I tell you I think she needs to leave! oh Ya, she came back and went back to wrapping Presents and she forgot to put a nametag on the last present she had wrapped so she had to open the gift again to see who it was for , I tell ya I don't think she helped me any.

I guess it could be a real boot...if I was a hit man for the mob!lol! No, this cement planter is 16"long and 12" high, I am turning it into a fantasy pc with a little yard/garden...you know, mini furniture people/etc...

I can't wait to see what you do with it! What a cute idea. I have a boot planter that is resin with a cardinel on the toe. Maybe I'll have to try something like this with it. Great idea!

calamity...I am "wanting" a cement boot like that! I love it!...your fantasy pc will be great! Now I'm going to be on the outlook at every cement place I pass by! I love that boot Jeanne! And I luv all Your stuff, man this forum is such a great place to hang out...Totally Inspirational! I am a crazy woman...My friend Glen has showed up this weekend and we already went and got more rock for my pond and castle base and for around the bog garden...got this boot, and have just painted> and am putting up my first project with the free wood I scored, trying to work on the castle in free minutes...Plus did a backyard makover for a gal for her birthday...pics to come, she is def one of us...garage sailing/thrift storing...sheesh!
