Should I repot dracaena sanderiana?

It is bleached looking, losing its lower leaves, and browning. I have had it for over a year and it was doing fine in its south window - up until about three weeks ago, tho I noticed some yellowing two months ago.

I was wondering if the soil is lacking in nutrients - would it be wise at this point to repot it? Is there anything else I can do to save it? Watering has been as usual (approximately once a week) and its been in the same spot for at least a year. Haven't fertilized since August. Old age? It seems like I was just complimenting myself on how tall it had gotten, I had to stake it, and now this. I have moved it out of the south window with the thought that it might be getting too much sun. Thanks for any help.
