Thank you for the reply MsGreen There's rocks on top and bottom. There dirt is also a little to wet atm as they were out in the rain. I must look like a crazy person when it rains as I run all my plants outside and buckets to catch the rain. Nothing but rain water for my plants now just don't know about when winter comes. :/ Sadly before that though I left them hanging out on the porch as I didn't know they would dislike the light. Spider plants love when I let them hang out on the porch but not the prayer plants so I'll just take them out for rain as long as it stays warm. The picture was taken the night after I though they looked a little sad (folded up wrong and laying on each other in the middle of the pot) and moved them inside. We had just saw them at the store and brought them home and repotted them a few days before that. The bigger one really needed the new pot. Poor guys I didn't mean to hurt them. There inside now getting indirect sun. I'm not sure if its to little or not yet but they are closing at night and open in the morning when I wake up. I'll just have to watch how they do. I could give them a good misting if you think they would like it. I wasn't sure if I should do so as they just got rained on a few days ago.

Yay little plantlets! I would leave them until they are much much bigger and the old leaf has fallen off. Pots are up to you, just keep them small because the plants are tiny. I like combining my cuttings/plantlets to save space. When ready to be repotted, they should have good sized root systems. Plant like a normal plant. As they grow, watch for etoliation. If they start stretching and reaching, you may need more light. In higher light they may grow slower, but will also be much more compact. A bit of experimentation will help you figure out where the best spots are. When the plantlet leaves start colouring up (reddish on the edges) then I wouldn't go much brighter. Hope that helps!

Reading your threads it seems you find it impossible to take a single decision for yourself regarding your plants. Every post is like a mini-buffet...It's important to take the good out of a post and leave what you don't feel drawn to. But I don't think Lena was getting on her high horse. However, her frustration seems apparent, and as it's a public forum, we're not all going to hear what we want, or like... Be more decisive about your plants. Let THEM tell you what they need... after all, you spend more time with them than we do! If what you're doing is working, then don't worry about the minutiae... go with your instinct - at the end of the day, it's all a transitory thing. Everything grows, flourishes, wanes and dies. Start fertilizing at 1/2 the recommended rate when the first TRUE leaves develop. When the seedling first emerge from the soil, it is being fed from the energy stored in the seed, and then from the cotyledons. The cotyledons feed the seedlings until the first true leaves, then the cotyledons die back. Water and fertilize early in the morning, then set the container in the sun so that the soil surface quickly dries out. Doing so will greatly help to prevent the fungus rhzoctonia (stem rot), which is the number one killer of young seedling.
