Ironically, I have just been researching making terrariums as my neighborhood garden club wants to do that next month for our meeting. A master gardener is going to help us and this is the list of plants she suggested: Pilea Peperomia Strawberry begonia Epescia Airplane pups with roots Small leafed hedera Here are some basic steps for making your terrarium: Step 1: Gather your materials which include: ⢠3-7 plants (odd number of plants should be used because it generally is more pleasing to the eye) ⢠A container, (Dish, bottle or Fish tank) ⢠Potting Soil ⢠Small pebbles or rocks (enough to put a 1 -2 inch layer in the bottom of your container for drainage) ⢠Spanish Moss or Spaghnum Moss (optional) This is a layer you place over the pebbles before the potting soil goes in. It helps to prevent soil from seeping down into the pebbles. Step 2: Build your terrarium ⢠Place the 1-2 inch layer of pebbles ⢠Place a thin layer of Moss over the pebbles ⢠Place the soil ⢠Arrange the plants ⢠Water and watch every day for progress Also, in their latest issue of Wildflower magazine, The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower center has a pictorial for making a terrarium. You are on a roll!!!! So am I - My local thrift store lady is giving me cut glass by the droves!!! It's on the outside of her store collecting dust & rain water. She doesn't want to throw them away - so she is all too excited that I can use them!!! Out of ALL of her glass dishes.. I saw 2 purple & 2 green.. so I guess it is hard to find. lol

Room in the car, now that was debatable. Took my daughters 4dr small mitisubishi. I had the back seat full of couch cushions for my sister to use on some deck chairs and had tucked in a lap top, my hand saw, my drill, my drill bit and my tool tote, lol. Mother never has tools available. And the back had 3 back packs full of baby books and things for my sons baby due in December, a back pack full of material and lace for my DS to make doll dresses with. I took a gift as always for my DSs and DM and aunts (this time I took the mushrooms from 99c store here. And I put my two small suitcases inside the trunk also. I had my two coolers with drinks on ice and some eatin goodies up front with me and the maps and such. So on the return trip I had the back full of my treasures. This included grids and shutters. Back seat was a rolled up foam mattress I had loaned my mom, the chair and some of the big vases and my tools and the laptop. On the very bottom was the white shutters and the sign. Front was the same setup. Oh I had the bamboo and hickory pieces in the trunks also but had longer pieces in the passanger side of the car by the door. And my suitcases were in the back seat also. And the pillow and blanket that were there both ways. And I had room for soft things if I wanted to put in. I am a crazy girl for sure.

LG, your urns and the cache pot are lovely. And perfect for you. I am looking forward to seeing how you decorate with them. I'm not ready for Christmas, other than loving looking at stuff and buying some. But I sure want summer over, our nice Fall weather doesn't even start till around first of Nov! But last year I decided to start decorating for it on the actual first day of Fall. LOL. And I will again this year, it gives me so much more time to enjoy it. Its easy to tweek for Halloween. By the way, "someone" in Canada sent me some cookies!! Only in Canada can you find chocolate type cookies called Whippet (like my dogs!). I'd heard of them but never saw any. Now I only know two people in Canada, and the other one doesn't have initials of L.G. like on the mailing label.
