Well, thanks for the responses, I will try to answer a few. Yes, there were veggies, beans, lettuce, brussel sprouts in my flower bed. I intend moving that bed as soon as I get the greenhouse up, and it will be almost in the same spot, just run the other way. Theres no electricity there for the chandie so its just for looks, and yes, I pulled the copper globe things off the light strings and hot glued them to the top of the candle/light sockets. I'm not sure how long the beads will last there, the wind usually blows from behind us, so that shouldn't be a problem. Besides, there plastic and probably would be in a land fill for a thousand years, should last a couple here..lol And they start out light green on the top and get darker towards the bottom. Not easy to photograph. The bird feeder is a 5 gallon water bottle, I just cut a rectangle out of the front leaving enough to keep the seeds in and the birdies can get into, and run a large eye up from the bottom and attach it to the finial thingy on the shade. It really glows in the sun, and should help keep the sunflower seeds dry and the squirells out. Yes, thats a cast iron stove insert I picked up from a yard sale last year. We burn wood almost every evening in spring and fall/winter. Deliberately left it to rust. I cover it with flowers in the summer. I put the windows along the bottom just to cut the wind at Thanksgiving last year, and liked them so much there permanant now. I use a regular indoor old rug under the "living room" area, and thats about it. I am so glad you all like it. We live in the country, so can do much as we wish. My neighbor thinks I'm a bit tacky, he's the "nothing but grass and flowers" mind. Which is fine for them, but I love "tacky and cute". I also love to repurpose things.

you could find some brown gems or beads and glue under the plate where it would still go into the vase below and make it look like a nest???? But it would not be for outside it you put it the way it is in the pic. The skeeters would love the water. Beautiful finds.

Your friend is so lucky to have you!!!! 99 cent store has some marble globs but I'm not sure about sea glass. Sometimes I will use just enough to go around the seams. It hides the glue and gives the piece added strength at the seam. But I love your creations. Susie

That's some great makings of a totem and other garden junk. I really like that blue swirly thing with the chain. For the first time since I've been looking I saw one of those old glass light covers,and the lady wanted $10,so I drooled on it and passed. It was beautiful,though! can't wait to see some pics of finished totems!
