I should introduce myself. My name is Shell (yes that is short for Michelle). I live in Central California, and I'm in my early twenties. I enjoy turning trash into treasure, gardening, and animals.

The pinterest "pins" are not ads. I also use adblock which is great! Pinterest will show "pins" it thinks you might be interested, based on your pinning history. I love pinterest. I have tons of house stuff, recipes, essential oil info, fabric, health, garden, even a board on my dog. It's a great place to save stuff!

Thanks Cedric. I admit, that Spring Bloom from Target does not smell great in the bottle, but after wash/dry....the scent is the closest any of us will ever have to real & classic AF Downy. Thanks! Btw, I am absolutely loving Kirkland/Costco fabric softener. SO similar to Spring Bloom/April Fresh and the ginormous container is like $8 :)

WiFi outlets are pretty handy, and at a good price point. I think you are even smarter, though, for thinking of alternating your side of the bed. As a creature of habit, that would never occur to me. Smart irrigation timers are great. Our yard is on an incline. In order to water the top long enough, the irrigation has to run so long that water runs down the street on the bottom side of the incline. The smart timer is smart enough to know that it needs to run for, say, 5 minutes, then stop for 2 minutes to let the water absorb, then run for 5 more minutes. No more run-off. I really like it.

I have never killed a living thing except for horse flies, house flies, mosquitoes, and ticks. When we lived in the country many years ago, we had horse flies and they were wicked. You have to pity the poor horses and deer that have to deal with them. Sometimes on the trail, I see the deer trying to get them off their bodies. After reading this post last night I came to my desktop this morning only to find an enormous house fly on the keyboard, ...the size of a horse fly. One came in the sunroom last night and I swatted at him with my slipper and apparently connected.
