Spider plants, turning black

My spider plant leaves are turning black about 4 inches from the ends. Also, just re-potted them into larger baskets, using moisture holding miracle grow potting soil.

The plants are large with lots of strands of babies hanging. They did this even before I re-potted as well. The leaves continued to turn yellow, sometimes black, so I thought they were out growing their 12 inch blaskets, so I re-potted into 16 inch baskets. No matter what I do, they continue to yellow, now they are turning black, not yellow or brown, but black. Not the tips, they are still green, but mid center of the leaves are turning black. The babies are also turning black and dying as well. They are hanging in an enclosed patio. They get only in-direct light. No sun. What can I do to stop this.
