How did your garden do this year? (In Michigan)

Just wondering how other gardens in Michigan did this year? Mine did not do very well. I had a lot of cherry tomatoes (Sweet 100's). But the bigger one's did not do good at all. (Parks Whopper). Did not get big at all, and very few were edible. 75-80% had bottom rot, or blossom rot. Weather was very hot and dry. Peppers did not do very good as well. Very few large thick walled peppers. I think the weather had a lot to do with it. I do my soil prep the same each year, with a healthy dose of 12-12-12 fertilizer a week or two before planting. Other years had good results.

So as I am here telling about my results, was wondering how others did with their vegetable gardens here in Michigan. If you are near a state near Michigan, I would like to know how you did as well.
