Help w/Container Pear Fireblight (pics)

Before I toss these (or prune to nothingness), I need confirmation on Fireblight.

At first I thought over-watering b/c I had watered significantly each time before (unexpected) late rain hit. Then blooms came, fruited, and they died off turning black. Everything is following the UCD IPM description of FB. My inexperience with pomes has really shown with this mistake.

Bartlett Pear:

Question #1) Almost every branch has it. I assume this is toast and won't bother pruning.

Bartlett Pear:

Question #2) When a low branch has it and it's gets into the trunk, it's toast, right?

Question #3) When a sub-branch, attached close to the trunk, has FB, the entire branch is now toast, right? Even though the end of the branch seems healthy, it WILL inevitably spread to the ends of the branch?

Notice the lowest branch on the right has it. When I pruned it off, here is an example of the branch:

Question #4) Does this look OK?

Thanks in advance,

Chris
