What are these red spots on my Peach tree
Comments (5)It is a fungus better known as "rust", not bacterial spot. Bacterial spot are black dots and more towards the tip of the leaf and on the fruit. The best treatment that I found is a soil drench using Dithane M-45. Mix 2 Tablespoons (1oz) to one gallon of water. To that mix you can also add water soluble fertilizer such as tomato 18-18-21 or 20-20-20 using the same amounts stated. Re-apply again in 10-days, then re-apply 10-days after that again. You can also spray the trunk, branches, and leaves with this mix. The best document actually a Power Point presentation that shows all types of peach disease and how to treat them can be found here: http://www.imok.ufl.edu/misc_news/peach_field_day06/diseases_of_peach.ppt Very informative pdf doc. http://www.doacs.state.fl.us/pi/enpp/pathology/pathcirc/pp69.pdf Here is a link that might be useful: Diseases of Peach in Central and South Florida...See MoreHelp! Comments (14)I know 6 years later and I'm buzzing in. Well, this just happened to my tomatoes and I'm no gardening pro! But, I saw some tiny poop that had me wondering who it belonged too. I thought maybe my tomatoes were getting too much sun and thats why its was turning colors but I did some googling. I found out, I had a Catapillar living and eating my plant! I sat down and stared at my tomato plant wondering if I would find this mystery Catapillar and then all the sudden right in front of my face there he was, about the size of my finger, but blended in so perfectly to look like a leaf. I stared at my tomato plant wondering if I would find this mystery Catapillar and then all the sudden right in front of my face there he was about the size of my finger but blended in so perfectly to look like a leaf. After posting this discovery on fb. all my gardening pros warned me that he would kill my plant totally and move on to the others. As well as lay larve. Yuck! Well, upon looking at your photos I think I found his cousin hanging out in your photo!! The close up was the one in my garden. So you can see it better. It's a tomato horn... Yours may be in a different family. But it's a catipiller!...See MoreHelp - Pairing granite w/ dark butcher block
Comments (2)Hi mmerdy... There are just so many options....can you give us an idea of your prefrences? Do you like granites with movement (waves and swirls)? Or speckled types (spotted patterns)? or veined ? or even very calm with nothing busy at all? Many granites have both light and dark colors within them. Do you want only dark or only light? I think if you give us some input you would get lots of feedback... KA:)...See Moreficus elastica leaves getting dark spots and then dropping, help
