Finally posting my secret Christmas gift!

I did thank Joan by email long ago!

Anyway, Joan, aka backyardmom sent me these lovely gifts, plus a beautiful plate that unfortunately shattered in transit. I told her it must have been a freak accident because it seemed to be wrapped very well. So I opened my box and inside was this ENORMOUS stocking with the goodies shown. I love the little stones with the rune like indented markings. And I'm working the two glass pieces into something I'm making right now! And the sun candle holder is very cool. I'm thinking about mosaicing it.

And my apologies to all for not posting sooner. Getting used to my new camera, a gift from my dh.

GREAT that you could post pictures of all your neat goodies. And I'm glad you found the camera cord, even tho you bought a card reader. Since I lose things waaaay too easily these days, I KEEP my camera cord attached to the computer. Otherwise who knows where it might end up, LOL. But at least for 2 yrs now I've known exactly where it is! Loved your Spring Fling haul. hugs, Karen

Well I was up early so went ahead and opened my SS gifts. WOW thank you Plumbnelly! I got the most beautiful hand painted gourd, a snowman spoon ornament, a Christmas Tree cone, a magazine, and a bag of peach marbles. Here is the photo of my stuff below. As you can see in the background, my newest cat just had to get in the picture. I'm single and live alone with my 3 cats so couldn't include a photo of myself. I tried and tried to wrap their little paws around the camera to take my picture, but they just couldn't do it. LOL Thanks so much for all my beautiful things. I had a great time opening them all. Oh Pattico: Don't worry I just got mine mailed on Tuesday ALSO! and I too mailed mine priority ! They said it would get there ! But guess this old stormy, snowy.... icey weather is taking it's toll on lots of stuff... my problem... was I am LATE !!! busy trying to think of the perfect thing.... changing my mind.... trying to find the "PERFECT GIFT" when the Gal that I am mailing mine to ... is the sweetest thing... she would probably be able to turn >>A N Y THing into a "PERFECT GIFT!!!"..... so.... we shall see..... What nice pictures everyone. Yayagal, what a precious baby. Such a pretty little face. I don't have any pictures because I have already put the bird feeder outside and the calendar I wanted is on the desk waiting for me to fill in all important dates. I did get a note from Santa though. Twas the night before Christmas, I'm glued to the tree. I'm wondering what Santa brought just for me. Could it be cardstock or chipboard or lace? Or a Cuttlebug, I said with a smile on my face. And that's when I heard him, "Hi Santa, " I said. "You know....good little girls Should be in their beds." What cool stuff, concreteprimroses! If you can't use the plate, just send it this way! I always tell folks I am more than happy to take broken dishes off their hands for mosaicing. he-he

I like that sun candle holder too and the holder/tripod thingy too. That would look cool with a small mosaic ball on it!

Very nice ,love those cute little stones, cool in a miniature path or in a pot or glued on a pot.Neat candleholder,a broken plate is all set for making a stepping stone!! Glad you figured out how to use your camera! Jan
