Need help salvaging blackberry plants from trade

Hey all! I hope someone can help me.

I traded with this very nice member of the site and while I place no blame on the person, as it took priority mail five days to get the package to my house, the navaho blackberry plants sent to me are VERY shriveled.

The plant has not yet begun to brown and while the leaves are still green, they're shriveled up. There ARE a few perfectly healthy leaves at the bottom of the plant and a few of the flowers are relatively healthy.

I'd like to nurse these plants back to health. Currently, the roots are soaking in a glass of water, as I just want to give it as much water as possible.

PLEASE help... I'm a newbie to berries and want to transfer these to a small orchard plot in my backyard.

Thanks in advance!

Danielle
