Rock-On--A- Roll

Hello, I'd like to introduce myself, to all of you kind folks that post here, I am sort of a newbie to this the site although I have been lurking, and learning here for quite some time. I plan on doing a LOT more come spring!

My problem is. A person on one of the 'pond forums' has asked about a pond lining material called "Rock-on a-Roll". It seems no one can come up with any information about the product other than what is found at the following web-site, that gives a fairly good description about the stuff. I would appreciate any and all information I can get on where a person might purchase this product or perhaps ideas on how to make your own.

Received the Rock on a Roll. Unfortunately it is raining and I can't take it outside to really look at it. From the dim lighing in the computer room it does look like rock. It is dimentional and rough like a rock. I will post more this weekend when I can get it outside and really try it out. So far I am very impressed with what I see and feel (feels like the big old rock that sits at the edge of the property). Maybe this will be just what I need to disguise the parts of the skippy filter that are exposed and the ugly pipe that shows. Anne

I've grown Rock and Roll for 7 or 8 years now. I started the project of digging up a lot of my roses and replacing with more bs resistant ones a couple of years ago. Rock and Roll is the only striped I've kept in the process. Not because it is bs resistant in our high humidity(not my worst offender, but certainly not my best), but because I love it so much. It is one of my favorite cut flowers...flushes produce enough flowers to make a big bouquet and still have plenty left on the bush; it lasts a long time in the vase and smells wonderful. The bush gets big here...about 6 ft tall by 4 ft wide and has flush after flush all season. As already mentioned, color is different in the heat...in spring and fall, it is very much a red & white striped/splashed rose that eventually ages to red, but in summer it is a red & pink rose with striping and splashes that are much less detectable and it quickly ages to red. I'm sure I will replace it when I find a fragrant, striped, bs resistant rose to rival it, but until then, it stays.

Rock and Roll is new this year. I just got my first Bloom and so far the foliage is clean and green and looks beautiful and healthy I don't expect any problems with black spot with this one. I'm very excited for this Rose I think it's going to be a winner go ahead and order it I bet you'll love it

djacobz, your ABG is not smoothly cupped. It's matured to a point where it looks a bit like my R&Rs. That was what I was wondering... will the leaves on mine eventually look more irregular in form than they do not. Looking in the hosta library is fine, but first-hand info is always better, IMO. Thanks for the pic.

Yes, we were aware of the place listed in Minn. but it only has a phone number to call. The person that was asking for information was looking for a web-site. But he has since been advised to call the number in Minn.
