Cucumber problem. Can't diagnose

Please help. I'm new to gardening. I planted Muncher cucumbers and within a few weeks of growth, the older leaves begin to get slightly mottled. I chalked it up to the incredible amount of rainfall we have had in the DC area. The plants are now producing and the mottled effect has spread to all four plants. The older leaves now have holes in them. The fruit is shaped normally but is mottled too (tastes fine).
I don't believe its a mildew. There is no residue on the undersides that I can wipe off (mold). No eggs either (a few little orange ones but nothing explosive). The undersides do have a substantial amount of black dots. I noticed during the earlier stages of the plants' lives that there were teeny tiny bugs on them that jumped. The looked like tiny beetles.
I should mention that the cherry tomato plant besides the cucumbers now have a mottled leaves and holes in them.
Please advise. They are exploding with flowers and the bees are busy doing their work.
