What plant is it? Where do you keep it? How often DO you water? How much sun does it get? And, BTW, there don't seem to BE any roots.

Holy cow! Them are some root challenged stems!

It's my peace lily again. Some of the leaves seem to come out and look like this at the end...while others come up and look totally drown and soggy. I don't get it. Some look like they're scorched and others look like they have too much water. I water it evenly all the way through.

How do you care for your peace lily on a week to week basis?
Light? Watering? When do you decide it needs water?

it's next to a window with low light and I water it about once a week or until the soil starts looking dry [soil changes color a little].

Think it would be hard to have any green healthy leaves coming from/supported by those roots. Are there any? I'd clean up the roots (swish in warm water and pull off anything rotted, or old dirt) and try growing it in water. If they aren't too far gone, you'll be able to see new roots forming and won't have to wonder about how or when to water. Any glass, vase or jar will be fine. It's worth a try. Sandy

Yeah, most of my leaves are green except for some black growing on the edges of some. I'll try that. Thank you very much. :)
