Monstera deliciosa question

I have a Monstera deliciosa that I've grown from a seed. It growing well, and has about 5 or 6 of the large "swiss cheese" type leaves on it now. My question involves the tendrils that grow out from the stem of the plant as it grows. The first few of these tendrils found the soil in the pot, and rooted there. But now, as the plant is getting larger (yet still not too large for its pot to my eye), the tendrils are just wandering everywhere. Some are reaching straight up, others are just reaching out. Should I move this plant to a much larger pot so that these tendrils can also find soil to root in? Is there some other way to control this, or is it ok for them just to stretch out in the air? They don't bother me so much, but I was just wondering what other people do with theirs.

Thanks.
