Darn the SVBs - can I reuse the container soil?

A sad gardening day....I just took out a zucchini planted in a container after finding holes in each stem and SVB larvae. (Maybe that's why it never produced male and female blossoms at the same time - maybe stressed by SVBs?)

Anyway, it was beyond doing surgery and rerooting stems or using BT, there were huge rips vs holes. I am mad at myself for not noticing it before, but i didn't really know what I should be looking for. Never saw moths or eggs or that orange stuff until today.

My question is, is the potting mix in the container now contaminated by eggs/larvae from the SVBs? Or would it be safe to re-use for another zuke or cuke plant? Thanks for any help you can share!
