Won't break dormancy

Is there anything I can apply on tree that won't break buds to make it come out of dormancy? One of my new peach trees (White Heath) is just sitting there like a literal "stick in the mud", while all my other peaches have broken buds and bloomed already. I planted it about a month ago, it had many branches, I keep snipping off pieces and it's still green on all the branches, but it won't wake up!!! Is there some kind of hormone spray or something to make the buds swell?

Given more time and sunshine, it should wake up. A newly planted tree sometimes behaves like that.

White Heath is a late season peach, fwiw.

You can't do anything to make it grow. If it doesn't snap out of it later you'll just have to remove it. I wouldn't rush to plant another right in the same spot, in case a pathogen is at work. Maybe look for honey fungus on the roots and crown, just in case. And if you don't see that, maybe there might be some other hints on the roots.

My Bermuda won't come out of dormancy. Help!

In the Fall, I found my Bermuda going dormant as expected but I had a lot of bluegrass. So I used Image and checked to ensure it was the type for Bermuda lawns. It took a few applications over 6 wks, but I got rid of the bluegrass. However now my Bermuda doesn't seem to be returning. Is there anything I can do to get it back?

I am not sure of the brand that we purchased for $500 38 years ago. I have had the furniture restrapped and painted several times at a fraction of the cost to buy new furniture. We bought it in Florida where it spent 3 years in a screened in porch and then moved to Indiana where it over winters in our shed. So I am convinced you get what you pay for. If you want quality furniture that will last....take proper care of it and spend the money to get the best quality you can afford. Strapped furniture can always be restrapped. Canvas, woven and the like will eventually fail and can those be repaired??? I am not sure about wicker. Cushions can always be replaced. Our furniture does not need cushions. I think Craig's list might be a good place to start.

Simonton, is ok, not good, not terrible. Andersen is as mentioned above. What series from Andersen are you considering. Pella, Only way I would use anything by them is if it were completely free and then I would still have reservations. Look into PGT, CWS or a couple of the other popular brands in Fla. Unless you can find an Okna, Softlite, or Polaris dealer.

If the branches are healthy, then it should make it. Couple of cherries I recently got are just starting to open up. So far, that have had just under 2 weeks of sun since I bought them from the store where they were gettng just the fluoro.

But an almond that I planted is still dormant. I think my almond tree is dead now because the branch tips are dying back (shriveling tips and turning dark brown/black - almost like a canker) about an inch per a week. It's sad to see it die coz. it was an awesome specimen - Had the perfect spread and arrangement of the branches and would have matured into a well shaped tree with some care. It's pain hopping stores/nurseries to find a good specimen (There's only as much that you can do with pruning/training)

My two mulberries are both still dormant, the newly planted baby and the venerable established tree. My new persimmon has not broken dormancy either. And of my two European plums, one has lots of leaves while the other is just starting to swell the buds. While most trees are actively leafing out, some are still hesitating.
