Planning new beds, would love advice, and critique

I love our current raised, terraced beds up against our house. But I want more space! The winter squash are taking over, and if my cucumber had not died off this year (still a mystery) there'd be no where to walk.

I want to make new beds for summer and winter squash, tomatoes, and cucs. The current tomatoes are really prone to spider mites, and since others in my neighborhood don't have the same problem, I think it's due to the close spacing (one per 2x2 foot space in a row), and extra heat from being next to the white house wall.

Here's my current (always being revised) plan for the new beds:

I realize that's not a lot of space for melons, pumkins, and winter squashes, but I expect to let those spil out a bit, and not to plant as many as I do cucumbers.

I have a hard time thinking about height of trellises and the sun, but I think it'll be okay. I'm not really sure. I should put a 6' post up at the site and see where the shadows go all day. I've plotted the sun and the area gets a bit of tree shade until 8AM, then it's 100% until 5PM.

I'm worried there are a ton of issues and things I haven't thought of.

What do you think?
