Strawberries / summer heat vs full sun

I'm planting everbearing strawberries in a container (pvc strawberry tree). I've read that strawberries produce best in full sun. But I've also read that strawberries plants stop producing in the summer heat. I live in northern Ohio. In the hottest part of the summer, we usually have temperatures between 90 and 100 with high humidity. Are these temperatures hot enough to impact yield? If so, would it help or harm production to move the strawberries to partial shade during the hottest part of the summer? Thanks.
