Midwesterners: anyone have ripe tomatoes yet?

I don't know about you guys/gals, but I am getting a little tired of everyone else in warmer climates bragging about their bountiful tomato harvests, while I sit and stare at my plants, waiting for the slightest hint of red (lol)! I am in zone 6a, and still have no signs of ripeness on any of my tomatoes (even my "4th of July" hybrids are still completely green). Normally I wouldn't be getting so impatient, but it seems like every time I am in the garden, someone walks by and tells me about how they just picked their first few toms in the past week or two. And then I log on here, and see pics of a table full of heirlooms from many of the users in the southern US, and I can't help but be a little jealous.

So, my fellow Midwestern gardeners, have you had a chance to taste your first tomatoes of the season, or are you still waiting like me?
