chemical control of black knot on plums

creekweb

The mainstays of control for black knot are pruning affected limbs, dissecting out galls, maintaining good orchard hygiene, removing wild cherry and plum and perhaps early season copper applications. I've seen Captan and Cleary 3336F recommended for fungicidal control.

Has anyone had success (or failure) using myclobutanil, propiconazole, mancozeb or chlorothalonil in place of the above fungicides for this purpose?
