Have Easter Cactus seed pods

I don't grow from seed, so I know nothing about germinating these seeds, but I thought it's relatively uncommon so maybe someone out there would like them. I have a bunch (5-7) of seed pods, some opening with tiny black seeds inside. It's on this plant which is a true spring bloomer.

I have other Easter cacti, all are kept in the same place, so I don't know if they cross pollinate or not.

I'm not much of a seed person, so would only be interested in very easy to start seeds like Datura's or 4:00s, or bulbs like amaryllis, otherwise I'm a plant trader. I'm in Tampa, so anything you offer must love heat and humidity.

Ok. I have Jade Ovulata (very common jade) and Column Jade, I take other Jade. I have one Christmas cactus not sure the color, if you have white bloom that will be great. I have to pass Violet. I don't grow Violet. Thanks for the offer. Send me your address. Yes I already have some Joshua Tree seeds (have to beg the birds to leave me some, lol). Will mail the Reed Barrel Cactus seeds and Joshua Tree seeds this week-end. Thanks for trading with me. Note: Joshua Tree seeds I soaked on the water a week ago, have roots and transplanted them in the seeding trays. I saw few sprouts from one pod Red Barrel cactus I germinated on May.

Wait until they are red and practically fall off. Many months. Others here can give more detailed info. Also there are some helpful YouTube videos.

Seed Pods - Thanksgiving Cactus

I crosspollinated them December 2019. I did not put the thanksgiving cactus outside summer of 2020 like I normally do because I didn't wat the birds to eat the fruit. I live in Colorado so I only put them outside from mid June to the end of August - beginning of September. I gave the remainder seed pods from the red cactus to friends. I originally planted the seeds in a Jiffy seed starting greenhouse kit and transplanted the seedlings when they were 2 months old to a shallow clay pot with potting soil. I also put the seedling outside with the parent plants this summer, 2021.

I have fresh blackberry lily seeds (the yellow blooms with red spots lily) and the plants I have grown from seeds have done really well in my Louisiana heat and humidity. Please take a look at my tradelist and see if there is anything else you might want. Hope we can trade. Would love some of your Easter Cactus seeds, especially the pink ones. If you want to trade plant leaves instead of seeds I do have a pink Christmas cactus here that I could send you some leaves of if you would like to send me leaves of one of your Easter cactus. Just a thought. Please email me if you are interested.

The true christmas cactus is very hard to find...I am guessing you probably have the thanksgiving cactus..but in any case here is a link that shows the differance in the holiday cactus....many people think they have christmas cactus because that is what retailers sell it as to make money..but in most cases what they really have is the thanksgiving cactus.
It will be nice if what you have really is christmas cactus.
