My big box store has blueberries, grapes, ect.

And the ground is frozen rock hard! I was oh so very tempted to buy some blueberries, but what would I do with them? The ground could be frozen for another month! They are the kind of plants that are in soil but in a bag, not a pot. Many were already sprouting leaves in the warm indoor air. Could I buy some and stick them in the garage until the ground thaws? They were a very lovely price and many varieties.

Oh I so want to go in there and come out with ten blueberry plants, but it just seems like a bad idea in February in Iowa. Am I being overly cautious?
