Lets talk watering...

So, this is my first year with veggi gardening, and I'm lovin it. I love to get home from work and go check out the days growth....Geesh..hope I'm not the only one :)

One of my issues, and I'm sure a lot of others is proper watering of different veggis.

I'm using the Sq Ft method in raised beds, and I know they say to water when the first couple of inched of soil are dry, but maybe we could get more plant specific.

Here is what I "think" I "know"

Pepper like little watering, and too much water can stunt thier growth. Maybe water every 3 days or so.

Tom's LOVE water, and I water every day????/

Cucumbers/Melons like a lot of water???? I have been watering pretty much every day

Lettuce and spinach like a lot of water...again every day???

Carrots....No idea, but would assume they like a moist envirnment

Bean...Pole/Bush....?????????

Broccoli???????????????

Kinda selfish as these are what I'm currently growing, but I'd like to hear from "YOU oh wise ones" regarding your watering schedules for different types of Veggis!!
