are ya talking about the kojo or something like athat berry? if ya are someone sent me some, (which i killed, errrrrrr!!!!) but, what they did was get theirs out of the dried fruit, and told me to soak mine for 24 hours, i did, then get the pulp off of it, i did, then spread the seeds, there was lots of them and then plant them. i got lots of them. which i then forgot to water in the winter it was under the heater vent in the kitchen window, **sigh** and they died. but there ya go!! :')) ~Medo

I found the miracle berry plant - after 6 years of searching - in Florida while on vacation. It was 1 foot tall and cost 65 dollars - I didn't share that little tidbit with my husband. Lets make sure we're talking about the same plant....after you eat a berry, wait 5 mins. then you can eat cardboard and it will taste sweet and delicious. If this is the plant you're looking for, I'll share berries or seeds the next time I harvest them. Let me know if you're still interested... C

I'm not the original poster, but I've also been looking for the miracle berry for some time and can't seem to find any reputable sites selling it. I have tons of veggie seeds I'd be willing to trade with you if you're interested. Pretty please? :)

The miracle berry fruit is hard to find because they rot quickly and the active ingredient miraculin diminishes quickly after picking and its very expensive to send the miracle berry from Africa. The plant takes 10 years to bear fruit and people here have just started growing the plant. If you want the fruit to eat then you can buy for about $5 each. Another alternative is to buy the miracle berry tablets which contain the freeze dried extract, all the miraculin is locked in through the freeze drying process, you can buy them in many places on line and lost of sellers on ebay.
