The terrified pruner needs help

I'll admit it. I'm terrified of pruning. But now, I must overcome the fear and do it. I have fruit trees. Apples, cherries, and a peach. Some of my apples are unknown.

The apple in the picture below is one of them. First fruit tree I bought, was labelled as a Bing Cherry, but was actually an apple. It's 3 years old (this will be it's 4th summer, actually), and I've never pruned it. Can someone show or tell me which branches to take off without a lot of technical terms to confuse me?

Next tree. Sweet cherry. I believe, Black Tartarian but I lost it's tag and am not 100% sure. It's either that, or Bing. Also going into it's 4th year never prune.... help here would be appreciated as well.

There will be more trees to follow at a later time or date, but these are the two oldest and probably most in need of pruning.
