I don't like a lot of the decorating or crafting shows anymore. I remember watching Trading Spaces and other shows ALL of the time but I don't watch that stuff unless I'm desperate now. My issue is a lot like Pattico's. I HATE modern decorating and that's all the shows tend to focus on. Not everyone likes what is "in" at the moment! I do like to watch that show "Find and Design" on TLC on Sunday's because they actually go out and find things at flea markets and yard sales. They also added Big Lots to the list so they must be a sponser. I just like that they use old stuff for new purposes. That's what I'm into. When I redecorate a room, I don't want to start from scratch! I like to take things I have and repaint or do something to make them match. A lot of the craft shows are jewlery, pottery, clay, etc. I don't do that stuff either. I do country crafts, primitive mostly. You can't find that on TV! Once in a while they have awesome houses on Country Style on HGTV but not always. Some of those houses aren't country at all to me. ~Leslie

Barefoot Contessa when it's not a repeat, but it almost always is a repeat, Michael Chiarella's show, but it's not on as much as it used to be., Molto Mario, and Everyday Italian - can you tell I like Italian food? Like everyone else, I've all but quit watching the go to restaurants and eat network, aka the food network. I keep forgetting to set up the recorder on Saturdays to tape America's Test Kitchen. there was one Saturday I was working from home, so I looked up when it would be on, and what else might be on PBS that day. Sadly, most of the cooking shows are gone from their lineup. I used to love Jaques Pepin, but his show wasn't on the schedule. I like Top Chef, Iron Chef, and some of the competition shows, but that guy on Hell's Kitchen should really consider anger management counseling. I just don't get why anyone would want to work for him, much less consider that being a prize to strive for. They should make the losers be the ones to have to be executive chef at his restaurant. I really think his behavior borders on criminal, but since that show has got to be as real as championship wrestling, I imagine he'll never serve time for his behavior, since it's all probably an act. At least I hope so. I sure hope he doesn't treat his family that way. Sally

We watch a lot of the History Channel as well as the Discovery Channel. I like PBS shows, love to catch a cooking show of Julia Childs...she is a hoot to watch. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to catch a quilting show on PBS, I can't seem to find out just when they are showing! Deb

I enjoy HGTV, Bio, A&E, History, and Travel. The Science Channel is becoming one of my faves! The E! Channel is my guilty pleasure. I get a kick out the The Soup and some of the other shows. Pop Fiction is very interesting. They get a famous celeb to go out and attract the paparazzi - Paris Hilton had a Guru with her, Avril Lavigne (sp) went baby shopping. Within minutes the gossip was spread all over - even on "real" news sources. I think it is a good turn on the paps!
