Rabbit Vitamin Supplements

I raise Californian market rabbits and show through the Texas FFA at my local county fair. I am also showing goats for the first year and as a supplement, give them a B vitamin complex [B12] and B12 supposedly makes them eat more and therefore, grow bigger.

I did poorly at last year's fair because its just so hard to put alot of meat on the babies in this Texas summer heat, and I was wondering- If I gave the rabbits a small dose of B12, would it be safe, and would it have the same effect as it does on goats?? There is also a supplement you can put in rooster water that is called Rooster Booster that is pure B12 and makes them grow rapidly. Would it be a good idea to try this on the rabbits??

I have looked everywhere online and can not find an answer, any advice is greatly appreciated since this is only my 2nd year.
