Is it too late to start cool weather crops?

This has been an odd spring. I always plan to get pea seeds into the ground on St Patrick's day, which is not possible, including this year. I did get them in the ground about 10 days ago, which was about a month later than I wanted to. It's already time to sow string bean seeds.

But I'm wondering about lettuce and bok choy and the brassicas? Lots of years, it suddenly turns hot earlier than we wish for. I'm abt ready to put tomatoes in the ground. Just wondering what everyone else is thinking about this?
