Al's mix: pine fines o' mine and limited screens

My first batch of pine bark was in the form of "pine bark mini nuggets" from Lowes. I just finished screening the 1st bag using the only screens I have available to me: 1/2", 1/4", and ~1/16" (aluminum window screen). So, 2cf of mini nuggets yielded:

~6 gal big = >1/2" - send to the chipper

~4 gal medium = 1/2">x>1/4"

~2 gal small = 1/4">x>1/16"

~1.5 qts fine = Now...how would YOU use these size classes? ;-)

Gritty mix: I think I read that Al likes to use what goes through 3/8" screen and stays above 1/8" screen...but I don't have either of those! The medium stuff (1/2">x>1/4") seems just a little big, maybe just a little bigger than ReptiBark which I know some people here use with good success. Any harm in using particles this big in the gritty, or should I send this to the chipper too? Or maybe use a mix of the medium and small?

511 mix: the small stuff (1/4">x>1/16") looks really nice for 511. Can I use the bark fines (
