foundation planting here we go - PICS for advice

I've taken some pics of the newly cut beds around my house. I have some ideas and a real love of trees and plants and gardening, but not a ton of experience as NYC dweller. (This is a weekend place.) We'll need a deer "resistant,' relatively low maintenance plan. I like a full layered look with lots of texture (i.e. the less mulch I can see the better). Some of my thoughts are below - I'm looking at a purple/maroon and pale yellow/chartreuse pallete. Would love any thoughts/advice. Will be tackling the front bed first.

Front of house (FULL SUN): left corner (facing house) - Japanese Maple, right corner - Smoke Bush. Flanking porch - Karly Rose Fountain Grass. Other perennials in front beds - baptisia (pale yellow one side, dark purple other), Agastache Golden Jubilee, echinacea, and perhaps some catmint, sedum along front (or another good, spreading low height plant). Also need to think about bloom times and heights.

Left side of house - (MORNING SUN ONLY) - Thinking of flanking porch with Karl Foerster, but would love suggestions. Porch is 3 feet high, was thinking I'd want something around 5'. A lot of afternoon shade so considering a nice mix of ferns, hydrangea, hellebores, astilbe, japanese forest grass. This is a big bed as you can see, so I'll approach it bit by bit.

Right side of house - (AFTERNOON SUN) - trio of blueberry bushes, joe pye weed - haven't thought out much more.

Again, thanks so much for any help.
